The Ikeja District Society of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria was launched on Thursday 12^th day of August 1982. The launch took place at the main hall of the Lagos Country Club, Airport Road ( Now Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way) Ikeja, Lagos through the support of the then President of Lagos Country Club Mr. Bayo Delamo and the Secretary, Chief A. A Jimoh. It attracted the movers and shakers of the Nigerian Economy.
